Sadhana Ashram provides a highly charged spiritual atmosphere ideal for personal transformation. Located in Boulder, CO, the Ashram is a modest, down home situation, with opportunity to spend one on one time with Shankaracharya. He feels that personal contact with a teacher is very important, and gives individual instruction in meditation, puja, homa, or various mantra formulas as requested.

On January 1st, 2000, Shankaracharya founded a new Tantric Order - the Adya Tantric Order of the Chandika Sampradaya. The purpose of this Order is to serve as the unified, Living Expression of the Divine Mother tradition, the Shaktipat tradition, Integral Advaitic Philosophy, and the Sacred Teachings.

For formal practitioners of this Order, who have been with Shankaracharya for over a year, there is an Acharya Training Program. This program covers all aspects of what it takes to be a teacher in this tradition: Philosophy, Mantras, Pujas/Fire Ceremony, Biography/Ashram History, Teachers/Psychology, Shaktipat/Kundalini Process (Diet and Meditation Aids), Basic Hindu Mythology, Chandi, Daily Practice, Other Spiritual Approaches and Comparisons, Holy Days, Spiritual Texts and References, and Science of Tantra, etc. There is no specific time limit for the course. Its completion depends on one's assimilation of the material.
